The Ridges Marina Summary The Marina Manager (MM) will oversee the management of all functions of The Ridges Marina operation.
The MM will operate at both a tactical and strategic level to manage and continuously develop all aspects of marina operations.
The MM is responsible for the overall marina experience, growing the boat club membership, and providing an excellent storage and boat launch experience for the members of The Ridges Marina.
It is paramount that this position provides consistent guest and member satisfaction.

Along with complying with all laws, company policies, and brand standards, the following are the Essential Functions of this position:
Ultimately responsible for the performance of the marina operations, services, boat club, chartered cruises, wet and dry slip storage management, and boat launch process.
Administer the boat club, launch, and chartered cruise reservation process in a manner that protects member access while maximizing opportunities for resort guest access.
Maintain and manage a captain pool for scheduled and chartered cruises.
Share direct responsibility with the captain pool for the safety of passengers, crew, and vessels.
Create, implement, report and analyze the marina operations plan and annual budget.
Responsible for the financial performance of the marina operations including planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and corrective management.
Oversees all operational policies, procedures, controls, and fee structures to ensure the safekeeping of assets, inventory, and resources.
Orchestrate continuous staff training program to ensure marina experience is best in class for personalized, gracious, and with a professional decorum that is not overly casual or informal.
Provide a learning platform for the continued development of the marina associates in including applicable marine certifications and boater safety.
Conduct regular associate meetings and daily line-ups with marina associates.
Support the marina operations team to ensure associates are able to provide a high level of member and guest engagement.
Weekly review of marina and dock conditions and address in a proactive manner.
Provide annual recommendations for high-quality preventive maintenance as well as rolling 5-7 year capital expense forecast.
Oversees all operational policies as well as actively supporting the safety rules of Wilson Landing.
Maintain meticulous operational and maintenance records of all company-owned vessels.
Maintain superior level of operating proficiency and safety standards for assigned vessel(s).
Insure fleet vessels are at the highest level of operational standards; schedule routine and annual maintenance services.
Maintain and manage dry-stack storage schedule by keeping accurate records on current and future boat storage members and the location of their vessels; provide updates as required to marina reservations.

Assures compliance with state and federal regulations affecting the marina and marina operations.

Qualifications Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) from four-year college or university; and or five years related experience (marina leadership); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibility Manages subordinates (all marina staff and dock crew).
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees Indirectly supervises non-supervisory employees Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
